Daniela Nieves is a Venezuelan star born on 4th of July, 1997, and she’s better known for portraying Andrea “Andi” Cruz on Every Witch Way, the Nickelodeon drama.

Some other popular appearances by Nieves include Una Maid en Manhattan, El Rostro de Analía and La viuda de Blanco. She relocated to the United States from Venezuela at age 4 months with her family.

While she played a major role in the original series, playing the lead character’s best friend Emma Alonso, the spin-off series places her in the lead, showing her becoming a Guardian while training at the WITS Academy, the most esteemed school for witches and wizards-in-training in the Magic Realm.

Nieves started her career as a child actress in Spanish-speaking telenovelas, which included a guest spot in ‘La viuda de Blanco’ (2006), a starring spot in ‘El Rostro de Analía’ (2008-09), and a few of guest roles in ‘Una Maid en Manhattan’ (2011) and ‘Mi corazón es tuyo’ (2014).

In 2006, at the age of nine, Daniela Nieves began her acting career by playing the role of Patricia Giraldo in one episode of the hit Colombian telenovela series ‘La viuda de Blanco’. She bagged Adriana Montiel ‘s recurring part in the Spanish-speaking action-based TV show ‘El Rostro de Analía’ in 2008 and managed to play the role in 109 episodes over the next three years.

She announced on 24 March 2016 that she would not be renewing her TV series ‘WITS Academy’ for a second season. She has however already bagged a role in the ‘Five Points’ web series, in which she plays one of the recurring characters, Ananda.

She also took over the role of Andi Cruz from another Nickelodeon sitcom, ‘Talia in the Kitchen’ (2015) in the telefilm ‘Every Witch Way: Spellbound’ (2014) and the crossover episode ‘Every Witch Lola’s.’ She was also featured as Charlotte on the action-crime TV series ‘Lethal Weapon’ in 2018, and is currently appearing on Facebook Watch in Ananda’s recurring role in the teen drama web series ‘Five Points.’

She was cast on the Nickelodeon teen sitcom ‘Every Witch Way’ in the main role of Andrea ‘Andi’ Cruz in 2014. She appeared on nearly all of the show’s episodes until it ended in 2015, announcing her own spin-off series ‘WITS Academy’ in July of that year, also on Nickelodeon. She played the lead in the series, and was just one of three cast members who returned from the original series as main casts.
